Tesla Inc. has officially launched its mid-sized sport utility vehicle, the Model Y, in Malaysia. This move is expected to boost the country’s efforts in promoting sustainable mobility and developing an electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem. The rear-wheel drive version of the Model Y is priced at RM199,000 (approximately US$44,000), making it the most affordable base variant of the model in the Southeast Asian region.
