IRENA GEARS UP FOR COP28 AND BEYOND

Short-term actions must be given top priority to urgently accelerate the energy transition in the coming years and course correct the 1.5°C pathway to 2050, said the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) in a statement released on 14th January 2023.  This was a takeaway collectively delivered by energy leaders in attendance at the 13th IRENA Assembly held from 14th to 15th January 2023 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
